Stay at a hostel - good facilities, low cost.
In the Land of Light you'll find a number of attractive hostels with comfortable facilities and accommodation for all ages in cosy, informal and relaxed surroundings. The hostels are very different in terms of layout and appearance, but their locations - some close to the city centre, others further out in the country - are all ideal as a base for exploring the Land of Light.

Families can stay in family rooms with their own bathroom and toiletHostels are suitable for individual travellers, families and groups. Rooms are available in different sizes and typically have 4-6 beds. Some rooms have their own bathroom and toilet.
All rooms have duvets and pillows. You just have to bring your own bed linen (sheet, pillowcase and duvet cover), but you can also hire bed linen and towels from the hostel. As a guest at a hostel, you have to do some things yourself: e.g. your room must be left in a clean and tidy state on departure.

Hostels offer modern facilities
Common rooms with TV, well-equipped communal kitchens and outdoor facilities ranging from barbecues to playgrounds are just some of the facilities you can expect to find at a hostel in the Land of Light. Some hostels also offer a breakfast buffet if booked in advance, whilst others have their own restaurant. What they all have in common, however, are guest kitchens equipped with pots and pans, thus enabling you to cook your own food during your stay. Other facilities often include an oven, refrigerator and coffee-maker. At some hostels, tableware and tea towels must be brought from home – or can be hired on site. Hostel cardIt's a requirement in Denmark that all persons aged 18 or over have their own hostel card or alternatively purchase a guest card. The hostel card is sold at all hostels. Foreign visitors who don't have a hostel card from their own domestic hostel organisation can buy an international hostel card at the hostels.
