Fishing licence and fishing pass
|
|
Angling is a great recreational activity where you really get back to nature. But remember, it's your responsibility to familiarise yourself with the rules and regulations that apply before embarking on a fishing trip. As an angler, you must have a valid fishing licence and familiarise yourself with fishing restrictions and conservation regulations.

The licence can be purchased at post offices and many tourist offices or online at www.fisketegn.dk and can be taken out for a single day, one week or a whole year.
The fishing licence is personal, i.e. each angler must have his or her own licence and thus it's not valid for an institution or an entire group.
Freshwater fishing requires both the mandatory fishing licence and a fishing pass that's valid for the stream or lake in which you wish to fish. More information about where you can buy a fishing pass for the stretch of water concerned can be obtained from the local tourist office.
