Sea fishing
Take a trip out to sea and catch your own fresh fish. With fishing cutters offering fishing trips, you’ll have the chance to catch cod, plaice, sole, turbot, mackerel and many more – even ray and shark.
The skipper on board is typically an experienced fisherman who, depending on the prevailing weather conditions, has a flair for being able to find the best possible fishing grounds.

Fishing from the breakwater and beach
Having one’s own catch make up the essence of a well-prepared and tasty meal is – in addition to the fishing experience itself – the great reward for the angler’s skill and luck.
Fishing from the breakwater is a good, popular starting point for a day’s fishing. With a coastline stretching some 250 km, there's also ample opportunity for fishing from the beach.
Depending on the season, salmon, sea trout and garfish can all be caught, as well as herring, eel, cod and flatfish.

A number of natural streams and lakes in the Land of Light also offer angling opportunities for visitors, since many local angling clubs sell one-day passes for their fishing waters.

Fishing parks Fishing is one of those activities that can provide the basis for a day-out together.
If the whole family is to go fishing, one of the put & take fishing parks in the Land of Light is a good choice. The chances of catching a fish are so great that the children’s patience will not be tried to an unreasonable degree – and the simple pleasure of catching one’s own dinner is bound to increase the appetite.
